Ideally, wouldn't we all like to live in a climate where outdoor living is possible year-round? And wouldn't we love to live in a space where the divide between indoors and outdoors is non-existent? São Paulo-based Fernanda Marques achieved this idealistic balance in her Loft 24-7 residence, presented at the CasaCor exhibition in São Paulo, Brazil. In the 250-square-meter (about 2,700 square feet) space, Marques has erased the barriers by using "outdoor" elements inside and "indoor" elements outside and creating easy visual links between the two. Limestone, rough stone, steel, glass, wood paneling and furnishings that speak to the architect's modernist style, all create a harmonious, seamless environment where you are never quite in and never quite out.
Kint és bent ? Ebben a Braziliában megépült zseniálisan megtervezett loft tekintetében teljesen elhanyagolható. Kényelmes terek, aprólékosan kidolgozott részletek jellemzik, a  São Paulo-ban működő tervező Fernanda Marques keze nyomát viselő, pazar trópusi ingatlant. A fa és kő kivételes összhangja , a kortárs design bútorok vegyítése a klasszikus modern design elemeivel alkotják e brazil lakás belső enteriőrét.

The house is located in a small valley in a mountainous area near Seoul, Korea. While the valley slopes upward, series of houses intermittently continue facing a 3 meter wide road. Instead of making walls or fences towards the road, the house gently lifts up the topography to form private spaces inside. The house opens up toward the south view and a small creek running along the side.It is a home for a couple who wants to enjoy rural life while still commuting to the city. It is a small house, but at the same time, a house that entails rich stories. The residents are in contact with land like farmers; also, they observe nature like tourists.Gradually lifted landscape of the mountainous topography becomes a floating mass over a little stream. Villa Topoject rejects the dichotomy of object building versus landscape building. It is a mutant born as a hybrid of the two kinds, and it focuses on the transformation process between the two typologies. The boundary of the site is pulled in as the topography becomes an object, creating semi private outdoor spaces. The private living spaces are formed inside. The continuous exterior spaces meet the interior spaces at all levels adding compact, yet rich spatial qualities. The boundary between exterior and interior, land and building, subject and object becomes ambiguous.

This beautiful house located in Mexico City was designed by Micheas Architects. The base of this project was to open spaces and to avoid visual barriers while integrating living spaces at all levels, respectively determined by the garden, terrace and deck. We like it, especially the play with geometric forms on the street-side facade. Enjoy!

Description from the architects:
The sun house is a relatively compact house for Singapore on a roadside corner plot in an established bungalow area. We endeavoured to make the most of the site by pushing the main ‘L’ shape of the building to the rear.  This then created an open courtyard which was private but with still a feeling of openness  on the relatively  densely constucted site, thus still allowing for good views and airflow.  We used the ponds and pool as cooling elements for the building as well as visual focal points.  Volumes and space were maximised as much as possible by sharing the open staircase and double height living space with the courtyard area. At the end of the day the house was also designed around the owner, who had a lovely collection of artwork and sculptures and this inspired the creation of a large solid wall with niches which housed his artworks as well as giving the building an anchor on which to expand other spaces.

Binimelis House is designed by Polidura Talhouk Arquitectos for a young marriage with two children, The Binimelis house is situated in La Reserva lots in Chicureo, Colina, Chile. The terrain presented three conditions that determined the actions taken that would finally define the project. Because of the lot being of triangular shape located in a corner, the legal edification lines left the constructible area in the center, a steep incline of 40%, and finally, sun exposure and views towards the valley.
The operation consists in separating the architecture program into two overlapping volumes parallel to the terrain lines, so when seen in section both volumes relate to the landscape.
The lower volume is buried in the terrain and adopts a materiality that allows you to understand it as a socle that blends with the landscape as well as the stone walls that enclose the site. In this volume the bedrooms connect with the garden that exists over the street level below.
The upper volume lies over it, by abstraction it differs from the stone socle and the terrain. In order to do this, we worked with simple geometry dressed in one only material with industrial shaping and a neutral color (gray stone). The volume breaks to prevent views towards the quarry orienting them to the valley. This volume contains the public space and connects through the only opening to the garden located at the upper street level.

The Bondi penthouse project has been designed by Sydney-based design studio Brian Meyerson Architects. The contemporary rooftop penthouse is located in a 1920s building in Bondi Beach, one of Sydney‘s most iconic beaches.
Hardly visible from street level, this three bedroom penthouse features a large deck terrace with fantastic views over the ocean. There is also an unexpected stunning swimming pool and some contemporary furniture.
According to the architects the concept behind the project was:  “How do you add to a building which has it’s own history and place within an existing environment which it contributes to form a place in one of Sydney’s iconic beaches.
“The design response was to plant a lightweight metallic clad addition onto the existing building. This white pristine metallic cladding with it’s irregular jointing patterns make for a strong visual contrast to the rendered solid masonry building below. As a formal gesture, the project is an exercise of delineating between ‘new’ and ‘old’ – respectfully.” Images courtesy of Brett Boardman
Fantasztikus Tetőtér ráépítésnek lehetünk szemtanúi ennél a Sydney tengerparti külvárosában Bondi Beach-en  megvalósult koncepciónál.

The Villa VH in T, by Beel and Achtergael Achitecten, is designed for a client who wanted a house where he could relax in calm and privacy among his family and friends and enjoy his extensive art collection. The site for the building is on a mixed vernacular residential / light industrial street close to the clients companies offices. On the inside of this shape a continuous glass wall opens the generous circulation and living rooms to this “heart”, the social core of the house. Designed for easy living, it is here that guests are invited to enjoy the light, space and art. To the outside the walls of the building are mostly closed however: smooth surfaces of white plasterwork, only sparsely punctuated with large windows where needed for the more intimate rooms that cradle the transparent inner space. Sunset Plaza Residence was designed by David Thompson and Kevin Southerland from Assembledge Architects and is located above the Sunset Strip in the famous Hollywood Hills. Just another proof that some people really don’t hold back when it comes to building their crib, this abode seems to have it all: an impressive and uncommon architecture, an infinity pool that dazzles the senses, floor to ceiling windows and to top it all, dramatic panoramic views of Los Angeles. Defying our common perception of a comfortable home, this 5,000 sq ft residence is built in a contemporary fashion and is opened to the surrounding landscape due to movable glass walls. Moreover, the L-shape ensures good natural lighting in every room of the house. This goes to show that aside from having a jaw-dropping appearance, Sunset Plaza also has sustainable features. The interiors are imposing and breathtaking, with a layout that proves high-class tastes while in the same time allowing the home to breathe. What do you think?

Design team of Sergey Makhno and Butenko Vasiliy have completed the interior for a restaurant in Kiev, where you can fell like baby bird while drinking cocktail or have a dinner at tornado top. This restaurant can be classed as modern European and offers a molecular kitchen style dishes. The main aim while designing this restaurant  space was to create an environment that is natural, modern and comfortable. This restaurant features two areas: a two-storeyed  dining section and relaxing bar area.Two-storeyed dining section was inspired by two natural phenomenas:  tornado and  rain. The space features  six  tornado shape balconies which create one dynamical upper zone with five dining cells. Restaurant walls lined with wooden slats create contrast balconies smooth surface. Ceiling lamps imitate rain drops falling from the sky so complete atmosphere is very natural and ensures comfort. Spaces of the restaurant are calming  due to the natural tones which extend throughout the restaurant : beige, ochre, garnet, brown.

A-Cero is an architecture studio that designs truly amazing contemporary houses, and the Vivienda 19, located near Madrid, further reinforces this fact. The house’s front is a mixture of smooth marble travertino and large floor to ceiling windows which bathe the house in light throughout the day.  The luxury open-plan home is made up of three floors: the basement, the ground floor and the second floor and also features an illuminated 80 square meter swimming pool which further enhances the contemporary nature of A-cero`s latest project.

The next loft designed by In Situ Architects in Brasov, Romania is a slick, hip place to entertain family and friends. The building site is situated on Cetatuia Street, at the edge of the historical center of the town, with an amazing panoramic view over the mountains and historical center of the city. This context demanded that the positive aspects of the site and the landscape are emphasized and exploited, while the space is used to its maximum potential. The building was designed as a residential housing including 6 apartments (2 per each level) and 2 lofts. This led to a compact building, very conscious of the value of the site and of the panoramic views it could offer. The clean, simple shape of the construction is enriched using the contrast and interaction between different materials with specific textures and colors. Windows reach to the floor, which makes the room appear larger, flooded with light, while roof windows bring daylight deep down into the living room through the glass flooring. The glass wall on the last floor for the master's bedroom opens a new direction to the living room and farther to the city through the roof windows.

This is about the unique design from a house which is inspired by Brazil’s Indian architecture and was envisioned in a way that counteracts the humid and hot climate which characterizes the area. This spectacular Leaf House was designed by Mareines + Patalano Arquitetura, located in Angra dos Reis, close to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This original looking beach home is covered by a giant leaf-shaped roof that isolates the building: “The roof protects from the hot sun all the enclosed spaces of the house as the in-between open spaces. The heights of these spaces which varies from 3 to 9 meters, allow the SE trade winds from the sea to pass perfectly longitudinally trough the building, providing natural ventilation and and passive cooling both to the enclosed and open spaces.
Muszáj volt ezt a gyönyörű levélkompozícióra hajazó , modern organikus házat megmutatnom, bármennyire is a modern minimál stílus áll hozzám a legközelebb és ezt a blogg hangvételén is érződik , ennél a háznál egy picit elidőztem. A tervező a brazil tervezőcsapat a Mareines + Patalano Arquitetura voltak.

The house is located in one of the oldest settlements housing in Guadalajara, it is almost the only swerved a city that is most often made, which allows up to receive fair winds and perform Superb view from the second level or at the west of the city. The irregular shape of the space creates an acute angle surrounded by the foliage of tall trees that are already established on the sidewalk. the other embraces the garden, the union of the two creates a vacuum that the vertices in the heart of the house with a large internal myrtle. The house was designed with large spaces, generous and continuous, there is no obstacle in sight, and the structure of the house is shaped by high beams lining the spaces are not supported which allow the continuity of vision all the way to the background. To achieve a powerful concept formal use of materials is almost the same in all areas, wood stretches from floor to walls and doors, ceramic floor with a perfect finish covers the entire inner surface volumes that stand out are a powerful and well-defined areas, particularly the rough concrete chimney that gives strength to the large open living room and the other is a big fall, which divides the space and mergers in the context of whole.

Villa Ronde is an impressive green-roofed residence designed by company Ciel Rouge and located in Japan. The round shape of this luxurious crib was chosen in order to take full advantage of the surrounding views. According to the architects, the residence “is thought as a wide free organic space in which rooms can be closed or in continuity to each other around a patio. The round shape is the best to cover the beautiful view around as well as to resist and glide in the strong typhoons winds. The building itself seems to grow from an hill in which air system circulate to ventilate permanently the house. Everything is thought for the best thermal natural ratio with a double facade for protecting from winds and sun, as well as the roof is covered by one foot of soil including a watering system”. Villa Ronde features an impressive swimming pool, a private museum, a beautiful terrace and a large guest area.
Ezt az érdekes körkörös geometriájú organikus épületegyüttest Japán egyik óceánparti településére tervezte a Ciel Rouge csoport. A ház funkciója igazából egy családi otthon, egy privát galéria ,valamint vendégház amely zseniálisan megbúvik a tengerpart sziklái ill. zöld parti fövenyében.,Nem véletlenül döntöttek a  kör keresztmetszet mellett a tervezők , először is a legnagyobb látószögű kilátást ebből a térformálásból élvezhetjük az óceán felé, másodszor a a gyakori tájfunok ellen is jól véd ez a kubatúra.

This modern apartment has been designed by WORKac and is located in New York, USA. The 6,000 sqf White Street Loft apartment encompasses a full ground floor, half a basement and one third of a sub-basement. The client, a family of four, love to entertain, and for more than four years WORKac collaborated with the family to create a new space for urban living that embraces diversity of materials and spaces, kinetic interventions to transform spaces and a highly developed sense of whimsy and the unexpected. The classic New York minimalist loft was considered too constraining and inflexible. The concept therefore was to divide the space into a series of programmatic “stripes” to accommodate different functions, moods and materials and break down the length of the apartment into a promenade of experiences, from most public at the front to most private in the back. This is combined with a shifting of the rear floors to allow for three full-height levels. The stripes consist of: the Living Room at the front of the apartment, with white resin floors and a loft-lke minimalist feel; the bamboo Shaker Box which has built-in storage and Japanese-style tables set in the floor – it can double as a stage or dance floor; the Kitchen/Dining room with plum-colored concrete floors and walls and a more formal arrangement of a table for 12 to 16 and an enormous kitchen; the Media Room where curved felt-covered walls, floor and ceiling provide a comfy nook for hanging out – a kids-only sleeping loft above provides space for sleep-overs.

Példaértékű ahogy ehhez  a klasszikus New York-i Lofthoz hozzányult majd átalíkította  az ugyancsak NY-i tervezőcsapat a WORKac. A Minimalista stílusjegyeket felvonultató lakást egy nágytagú család rendelte meg a tervezőktől, akiknek fontos a belvárosi multszázadi hangulat, viszont korunk kortárs design-ja áll közel hozzájuk a belsőépítészet tekintetében. Mindenképp inspiráló lehet ez a fantasztikus ötletekkel átszőtt, egyáltalán nem unalmas loft kialakítás, mindenki számára aki régi épületfelújításon töri a fejét.

The residence features four bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, a 4,585 Sq Ft. / 426 square meters interior, two fireplaces, basement windows with a view into the swimming pool, sliding walls of glass, and stairs down to a private beach. Designed in a charming contemporary style, the interiors are fascinating, some of them displaying minimalist decors with strong aesthetic effects. Modern and elegant inside and out, the Art and Surf House could serve as the perfect permanent getaway.
Modern Minimál stílusú tengerparti házat tervezett a szörfözés és a művészet jegyében,  Steven Harris és építész irodája , a New York megyében található Mountauk - ba, közvetlenül az óceán partjára. Az egyébként piszkosul drága házban /Közel 12 millió dollár/ található négy szoba fürdőszobával , kandalló a hidegebb estékre és egy pár óriási eltolható üvegfelület amelyeken át szinte közvetlenül kiléphetünk a saját tengerpartunkra. A belső enteriőr is nagyon el lett találva, minimalista, letisztult design és egyedi beépített bútor kialakítások jellemzik, mind a nappali konyha étkező kapcsolat , mind pedig fürdőszobák tekintetében.

Designer Reese Roberts has dived into Casa Finisterra head-first, bringing a fresh, modern style to what may well be the perfect contemporary beach home! This exciting, contemporary design is a paradox – urban, yet organic; elegant and relaxed; open and private all at the same time. It’s everything a luxury beach house should be! Built into the rocky shore, this home has become one with its surroundings. Open-air terraces and expansive windows further solidify its connection to nature. But it’s not all about nature at this amazing home. This stunner boasts modern, minimalist furnishings and abstract art that complement the organic concrete, stone, metal and glass elements within. A neutral palette of white, beige and grey adds to the home’s cool, calm atmosphere.

Some architects’ and designers’ ideas really impress the imagination. Looking rather strange outside this futuristic White O Residence by Toyo Ito & Associates Architects located in Marbella, Chile is very comfortable yet. The whole project occupies 370 square meters. The architects connect the living spaces with the exterior in a unique and wonderful way due to the unusual structure. The spiraling dwelling is completed by the enclosed garden.
